Haus Dari Sofa - Design Space Al-‘Ula, Saudi Arabia
Situation
In mid-December 2024, we were asked to send the monumental Haus Dari sofa, which had to be delivered to Al-'Ula by December 25.
Solution
In less than a week, the WEL Fine Art team provided a full range of services: quotation production and validation, collection, crating, loading of the entire shipment on a single flight (reservation of all available cargo space for 14 crates), then shipment to Al-'Ula.
Impact
Arrival on schedule. Despite a deadline of less than a week, the WEL Fine Art team set up and provided the necessary services to deliver a piece of considerable size and quality in record time.

Situation
November 2024: We are asked to ship numerous items to New York—some of which are still in production, bulky, heavy, and fragile—requiring special packaging and care.
Solution
Quotes were prepared and approved within 48 hours, insurance was provided with a condition report of the works upon departure, unpacking, cushioning, consolidation of existing packaging, repacking, and custom crates were provided before shipping. Three shipments of approximately twenty pieces were made in two weeks.
Impact
The packaging and shipping of the pieces were completed within a very short timeframe, giving the gallery teams ample time to set up the exhibition and meet the public opening date.
Philippe Parreno’s Marquee installation
Situation
Philippe Parreno's work Marquee was sold, and the customer was looking for a service provider who could provide secure packaging. So he asked us to do it for him.
Solution
Creation of customized transport crates, comprising several compartments with foam cut-outs designed to accommodate each part of the installation, especially the extremely fragile neon lights, to ensure breakage-free transport.
Impact
